Long before CNN Larry King had a popular radio program that started late and went for the better part of the night.. TIME magazine.. I remember that I had worked all day during that day. I photographed the first part of the radio show staying out of the way and staying quiet. King had no guests and it was just him sitting talking into his microphones. I was determined to stay until the end of the program just in case a picture would occur. So far nothing and I kinda went to sleep. King looked over, brought a microphone over, woke me, and began to interview the TIME magazine photographer. I just stuttered, didn't make any sense, but probably no one was listening at that late hour.
